Salvation Army Birthday Parties

On the third Sunday of every month volunteers from St. Luke’s provide a birthday party for the children in the Women’s and Children’s Shelter of the Salvation Army in downtown Orlando. Each child who has a birthday that month receives a present. There are new meeting dates and times: The parties start at 4:00 p.m. Everyone should meet at the church at 3:30 p.m. Toddlers through seniors are encouraged to serve in this ministry. Donations of gifts are especially needed for infants to 2 year olds, as well as gifts for older youth (ages 12 to 14). Donations of party supplies such as balloons, cups, and plates are always needed.
